A CPG brand in a high-growth moment — 59% year-one revenue growth — had an accounting infrastructure that hadn't scaled with them. Multi-million-dollar inventory and production decisions were being made without reliable COGS data. Investor reporting was running 45+ days behind actuals. They were winning in the market and losing in the back office.
The Solution
VantagePoint overhauled the chart of accounts, built a real-time COGS tracking model by SKU and production run, implemented a 13-week rolling cash flow forecast, and rebuilt the monthly close process end to end — bringing reporting from 45 days to under 10. We then built the board reporting package from scratch and ran a dry due diligence process so when the Series A materialized, the numbers were airtight.

A craft spirits brand generating $4.2M in annual revenue was expanding into three new states — with no pricing framework to guide the rollout. Margins swung wildly from 18% to 52% depending on the distributor, the SKU, and the market. They were growing. They just weren't growing profitably.
The Solution
VantagePoint conducted a full pricing audit across all 14 SKUs and every existing market. We built a margin-by-SKU model, established distributor price floors, introduced a tiered pricing strategy by market type, and renegotiated terms with three distributors whose agreements were quietly eroding profitability. The new framework was deployed across existing and incoming markets before the next distribution cycle launched.
